Frequently Asked Questions
Should I hire the acoustic or electronic drum kit?
The acoustic Tama Starclassic kit suits live stages and gigs where you want full volume and natural tone. The electronic Roland TD-07DMK is ideal for quiet practice, small stages or venues where noise needs to be kept down.
Does the drum kit hire include stands and hardware?
Yes — the acoustic kit comes with stands, hi-hat, bass pedal and throne, and the electronic kit comes on its rack, ready to play.
Can I hire drum microphones with the acoustic kit?
Yes, dedicated drum mic sets are available to hire from our Sound Equipment page if you need the kit miked up for a live gig or recording.
Do you deliver and set up the drum kit, or do I collect it?
Both options are available — we can deliver and set up the kit at your venue, or you can self pick-up from our Manly Vale base.
